Tackling gender imbalance in water sports

SeaSports Southwest are once again teaming up with Devon Girls Can to tackle gender imbalance in water sports, with a half price ladies only sailing taster session.

Did you know that there are 62% more men than women taking part in regular water sports across the country?* Well this is why SeaSports Southwest are once again teaming up with Devon Girls Can, the regional variation of the UK’s viral #ThisGirlCan campaign, to encourage more women on the water.

We had a super successful ladies-only paddle boarding event in May, hosted in partnership with Devon Girls Can, in fact the event proved so popular that additional sessions had to be added to accommodate all of the eager ladies that attended.  Following this success  SeaSports Southwest are excited to be holding  a second event  on October 20th; a half price (Ladies only) sailing taster.
