REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Powerboat level 2 certificate. Strongly recommended that you hold a first aid and VHF operators’ certificate.
ABILITY AT COURSE END: Understanding of the techniques required to act as tender, carrying passengers to and from shore by day and night.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: A great couple of days to get a first taste of proper navigation and enjoy an introduction to navigating in hours of darkness. As a development from powerboat level 2, this course is very useful for anyone responsible for the carriage of passengers day or night. Originally intended for crews working on super yachts who may be driving guests on the crafts tender, this course will develop and build on navigation techniques taught in powerboat level 2 and focus on safe passenger management too.
