Dinghy Instructor / Senior Dinghy Instructor
SeaSports Southwest is looking for an experienced and motivated DINGHY INSTRUCTOR and SENIOR DINGHY INSTRUCTOR to join our team for the 2023 season. The work is varied and interesting, teaching a wide variety of watersports. We offer sailing, windsurfing, powerboating, pwc, paddleboarding and shore-based courses from beginners to advanced and instructor level. The role will include teaching adults as well as leading child activity sessions.
We are offering a long-season position from April to October, with the potential for a permanent position, based at our Teignmouth, quayside centre. Our Watersports centre boasts great facilities; open sea and estuary. We offer great opportunities for instructor development, training and personal on-water time, working with an experienced senior team, including Tim Cox (PB, PW & WS, Dinghy, Multi-hull Trainer). In return, we expect enthusiasm, flexibility and hard work. Tidal experience is essential, Power, PWC and windsurf instructor qualifications would also be an advantage but not essential.
Qualifications: Dinghy instructor with tidal experience is essential. Dinghy senior instructor, windsurfing, powerboating and PWC would be useful but not essential as training can be given.
Salary: Competitive, but depending on experience.
Hours: Full-time seasonal, April to October. Opportunity for permanent.

Chief Instructor
We are looking for a fun, motivated and hard-working chief instructor to join us for the 2024 season. Ideally multi-discipline S.I. with tidal experience,
The work is varied and interesting instructing courses and lessons on the open sea and estuary. Teaching a wide variety of water sports to all abilities. The role will include teaching adults as well as leading child activity sessions.
