COURSE DESCRIPTION: The RYA Advanced Powerboat course is the perfect course if you want to undertake passages at night time. It builds on the skills from the intermediate course and adds aspects of navigating at night time. During the night passage learning to navigate to lit and unlit buoys and more advanced techniques such as using back bearings, transits and depth contour lines, helicopter rescues, and search patterns. An essential course you should undertake if you wish to gain commercial endorsement and undertake the Advanced Powerboat course exam.
