REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate
ABILITY AT COURSE END: Able to provide safety cover to a range of craft, particularly sailing or windsurfing. It’s also strongly recommended that you hold a first aid and VHF operators certificate too.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The RYA Safety Boat course is a two-day course teaching the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes or for racing or training activities. It is also a prerequisite for Senior Instructor candidates.
